3 Weeks Campaign on UMID Registration, Grievance Registration & Aadhaar Enrolment/Updates at N. F. Railway Headquarter Complex

NOTIFICATION 

        Personnel Department of Northeast Frontier Railway, Headquarter, Maligaon, Guwahati has scheduled a 03 Weeks Campaign on Unique Medical Identity Card(UMID) Registration &  Aadhaar Enrolment/Updates for Railway Serving Employees, Pensioners, Family Pensioners and dependent Railway beneficiaries w.e.f. 07-03-2022 to 25-03-2022 on all working days. 

      Railway Serving Employees under HQ Unit and adjacent Divisions posted at Maligaon, Pandu area, Pensioners, Family Pensioners and dependent Railway beneficiaries are invited to attend the campaign for registration in UMID Portal (https://umid.digitalir.in/ ), collect printed UMID Cards, and for fresh enrolment and updates of Aadhaar Card at Staff Facilitation Centre and Aadhaar Enrolment Centre located N. NOTICE

       All Pensioners and Family Pensioners under Headquarter Unit of N. F. Railway are requested to register on UMID portal for generation of their UMID Card for availing medical facilities in Railway Hospitals. You are requested to first register yourself on UMID Portal by visiting the UMID portal (https://umid.digitalir.in/web/ ). Then, submit your UMID applications with all the requisite documents as prescribed. 

Common Documents required for all: 
  • Photograph of Pensioner & all the Dependants 
  • Signature of Pensioner 
  • Old Medical ID card of Pensioner 
  • ID proof of all individual Dependants.

  • As on date, there are total 12354 nos. of Pensioners including Family Pensioners (approx.) under Headquarter Unit of N. F. Railway. 
  • Out of 12354 nos., 4190 nos. have already registered on UMID Portal.
  • 8164 nos. of Pensioners & Family Pensioners have not yet registered.          
  • 408 nos. of Pensioners & Family Pensioners have registered on UMID portal but not yet submitted their UMID applications.
  • As on date, UMID Cards have been generated for total 3101 nos. of Pensioners and Family Pensioners of HQ Unit.

        Please check your name and PPO No. from the list given below who has not not yet registered, who has not yet submitted UMID applications and whose UMID Cards have been generated :-


       Pensioners/Family Pensioners whose UMID Cards have been generated are requested to collect their Printed UMID Cards from the office of PCPO's Office (Stores Section).

Special Camp for UMID Registration for Railway Pensioners at HQ

for Pensioners 
on 15-11-2019, 22-11-2019, 29-11-2019 & 06-12-2019 

       Special Camp for UMID (Unique Medical Identity Card) registration for Pensioners will be organized on 15-11-2019, 22-11-2019, 29-11-2019 & 06-12-2019 at the office of General Manager(P), N F Railway, HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati-11.

         All the Pensioners who have not yet registered and initiated application on UMID portal are requested to attend the special camp for registration of their UMID application for generation of UMID Card. Users must carry their latest PPO and a valid Mobile number.

       Pensioners are who are able to register their own or with the help of others may register on their own from their respective  home place by visiting the website of UMID portal i.e. https://umid.digitalir.in/ .

Checklist for submission of Application :-

       As a ready reckoner the following is the check list for mandatory fields and documents to be scanned in JPEG/JPG/PNG format for advanced preparedness to initiate the application in a full-fledged manner.

UMID(Uniform Medical Identity Card) User Handout


Unique Medical Identification System

            UMID(Uniform Medical Identity Card) scheme, a web and mobile based application to generate Medical Identity Cards for Railway employees & pensioners and dependent family members was launched on 05.04.2019 by Chairman, Railway Board, as a part of digital initiatives over Indian Railways. This initiative aims to simplify access to health care services, eliminating the need for railway staff to carry the physical card/health book. UMID will generate smart Medical Identity Cards with unique numbering scheme across all the Units in Indian Railways so as to facilitate availing medical services from any other units by their unique identification and validation.

               All Railway employees of N. F. Railway are requested to register on UMID Portal (https://umid.digitalir.in/web/) and initiate application online for generating Unique Medical Identity Card.  Please download the following User Handout for understanding the Steps for registration on UMID Portal.

Chairman, Railway Board has launched UMID(Uniform Medical Identity Card) scheme, a web and mobile based application to generate Medical Identity Cards for employees & pensioners and dependent family members on 05.04.2019, as a part of digital initiatives over Indian Railways. This initiative aims to simplify access to health care services, eliminating the need for railway staff to carry the physical card/health book. UMID will generate smart Medical Identity Cards with unique numbering scheme across all the Units in Indian Railways so as to facilitate availing medical services from any other units by their unique identification and validation. Railway Board has emphasized immediate implementation of UMID scheme over all Zonal railways.

The entire UMID implementation process has to be completed within 3 to 6 months time intimated vide SC Railway’s letter No.SCR/P/HQ/765/IT/UMID dated 18-03-2019. Exclusive usage of UMID Cards & Biometric validation will be made compulsory from 01-10-2019.

To facilitate this, a detailed exercise has to be carried out duly involving various departments and active participation of all employees/pensioners. Detailed guidelines in the form of User Manuals (for both Admin Users and End-Users), Registration & Log-in Modalities, Brochures, Check lists, Application formats, Help-Desk modalities, FAQs including educative Videos in Hindi and English are available for download and reference in the home page of UMID portal at https://umid.digitalir.in. and www.umidnfr.nfreis.org and important references are enclosed herewith.


Step by step procedure for registration in UMID portal and initiate application is explained below in brief:-

1. STEPS TO REGISTER IN UMID PORTAL:

  Open web browser and type https://umid.digitalir.in
  In the homepage, click REGISTER HERE.
Chose the type of User (Employee/ Pensioner)
Enter the required details i.e. 11 digit Employee No. (PF No.), PAN No. and 
    Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy). Then, enter the Mobile no. and click on SEND OTP
Enter the OTP received on your mobile and set a password for your UMID account. 
   This password shall have maximum of 8 digits, 1 special character and 1 digit. 
    Re-enter the password and click on Validate.
Your user account will be created successfully and you will be re-directed to the UMID homepage.

All employees/pensioners are requested to register themselves in the above manner by  30th June, 2019.

Once, registered successfully as a User, the next step is to initiate application in the UMID portal. Users have to feed the bio-data and other details/supporting documents in the UMID portal. To facilitate this, proper documents are required to be kept in readiness by all employees. Below is the brief procedure for initiation of application for reference:

2. STEPS TO INITIATE APPLICATION:
Open web browser and type https://umid.digitalir.in

In the Web page, click on LOGIN (Option no.2). Enter your Employee No./PPO Number  
            depending upon the type of User.

       Once you log-in, click on UMID Employee in the Master Dash Board. 
            This will automatically be UMID Pensioner for pensioner login.

Now all the employee details as fetched from your IPAS database will appear on the 
     screen. Please go through the details and in case of any correction, contact your 
     respective Bill Clerk in Personnel department.

If all the details are correct, on the left side in options, click on INITIATE APPLICATION  
     (Option No.2 in Master Dash Board).

As a ready reckoner, the following is the Check list for mandatory fields and documents to be scanned in JPEG/PDF format for advanced preparedness to initiate the application:-

     Passport size photograph of employee & all the dependents.
·    Signature of Employee.
Old Medical ID card/existing health book of employee. If this is not available, Pass/PTO declaration duly certified by the supervisor.
ID proof of all individual dependents.
Father's death certificate in case of Widow Mother.
Bonafide Student's certificate in case of son over 21 years.
Divorce decree in case of divorced daughter.
  Marriage certificate & Death certificate in case of Widow daughter, if any.
  Father's death certificate and bonafide student's certificate for Brother above 21 years.
Father's death certificate in case of Un-married Sister.
Father's death certificate and divorce decree, in case of Divorced Sister.
      Father's death -certificate, Marriage certificate and Death certificate in case of Widow  Sister.

When you click the initiate the INITIATE APPLICATION button, you will be re-directed to 
     EMPLOYEE APPLICATION FORM where you have to feed all the requisite details like 
    Aadhar card, Email-ID, Address, Pin Code, Health Unit opted for and click on PROCEED.

Once these details are validated, you will have to upload the necessary scanned 
    documents (including scanned signature) in respective buttons.

Once you upload the documents, you can view and confirm the page to proceed further.

Once, this procedure for initiation of application is completed and approved by 
    Establishment Officer, UMID ID cards will be generated for employee and each of the 
    family members separately.

The Medical Card can be downloaded and saved on Mobile (or) Print on Paper/Card (or) 
    Print only the QR Code. Final printing of the Medical ID card will be arranged by 
     Personnel department.

Any of the mechanism used for downloading/printing Medical Card will the help the 
    employee/pensioner/dependent to show them in the Hospital counter or Kiosk for OPD          generation.

Special Camps on UMID will be organized at various locations to create awareness and assist employees/pensioners for online registration and submission of application on UMID portal. Further instructions/guidelines will be circulated in this regard by GM(P)/NFR/MLG  and same will be uploaded on the website at www.umidnfr.nfreis.org for easy access and download.

Therefore, all the employees are advised to complete the online registration procedure by 30th June,2019 to enable the Personnel department to proceed further. In case of any assistance, employees shall contact their concerned Welfare Inspector immediately.
